Councils
A working group has been set up with the aim of improving the quality of community life for adults and young people in Wootton and Dry Sandford.
The group meets regularly and is tackling a number of specific projects in addition to looking at the community on a wider basis. It has made significant steps towards starting a youth club and has supported the development of this web site which aims to provide information relevant to the local community and to improve communication between community members.
The next meeting is due to take place at 7.00 pm on Thursday 18 September at the British Legion, Wootton Village. The group is keen to have as many members of the community involved in its work as possible and if you are interested in joining the group, or in helping with any of the projects, then please either come along to the meeting or contact Vikki Gledhill on 321904.
