Bus Services

Two bus services serve the area, the Oxford Bus Company number 4 which links Rose Hill with Abingdon via the City Centre, Botley and Wootton, and the Stagecoach number 44 which links Oxford, via North Hinksey, Boars Hill and Sunningwell to Abingdon.

Help Save the 4B Bus!

The 4b bus service which runs through Wootton between Oxford and Abingdon in the evenings and Sundays is under review.  The service was subsidised from Section 106 development money from Deerhurst Park.  The subsidy runs out at in July 2010 and Oxfordshire County Council will need to decide whether to cancel the service or subsidise it.  The Parish Council believes that we should try to retain the service and will be working hard to achieve this.  Individual e-mails and letters of support should be sent by 4 January 2010 to -
